Lunch is a French pastime and during the week all restaurants must provide a fixed price menu. There are many such restaurants in villages all over the area which will provide good food (usually 3 courses sometimes 4) for less than €15. If in doubt look for lots of cars parked at about 12:30pm but beware you are unlikely to be served if you arrive after 1:15pm. Some of these restaurants up their act in the evenings. Vegetarians are not well catered for.

Below are a number of restaurants close to Bernède - the order is random. There are also many restaurants in Pau (45mins) and Mont de Marsan (35mins).
